Bringing Vaccinations Closer To Our Patients

Nuneaton & Bedworth PCN is proud to support the new NHS England funded project aimed at improving childhood immunisation rates across our communities, with a special focus on increasing uptake of the MMR vaccine.
To make this process as convenient and stress-free as possible, our PCN has established community-based clinics at the following locations:

Stockingford Community Centre
Newtown Road
Hilltop
Enhanced Access Sites (Bulkington Surgery and Red Roofs Surgery on Saturdays).

Looking Ahead: More locations will be added in 2025, and we’re even exploring the possibility of offering home visits for extra flexibility.

How It Works
Children needing vaccinations are identified through practice systems, and parents are then personally contacted by our administrator to arrange appointments at a nearby community clinic.
Each clinic is staffed by two experienced nurses or healthcare professionals, ready to not only administer vaccinations but also answer any questions parents/ carers may have. We aim to create a warm, welcoming environment where families feel supported.

Flexible and Family-Friendly
We understand the needs of busy families, which is why clinic times are carefully planned around nursery schedules. Parents/ carers can also access additional vaccination resources and support through our practice social media channels, running from January to March 2024.
We look forward to welcoming parents/ carers and their brave little ones to our clinics, where of course every child will receive a well-earned sticker for their courage.

Together, let’s ensure our community stays healthy and protected.
